Glory's 4th grade choir. You can't really see her in the video - she's on the right hand side in a blue shirt. Loved the Christmas Program this year.

Christmas 2011
Christmas Eve at CrossBridge - my little shepherds - and my big girl - too big to dress up this year. Jesus, I ask that these three kids would always be shepherds for YOU - keeping watch, anticipating your coming, hearing your voice, seeking your truth for themselves and then telling the world about you!
Christmas Eve Snack for Santa and the Reindeer. Do you see the carrot sticks arranged like a reindeer? And oh, those yummy gingersnaps - pure lard, sugar and molassis all baked up into a delicious, gooey circle. Santa loves those things.
The kids woke up at 4:30 AM - snuck to my side of the bed and then all at the same time said, "It's Christmas!" I bolted to an upright position, checked the clock and said, "No, no guys, it's 4:30 in the morning! Go back to bed." They were sweet to quietly sneak back out and do their best to go back to sleep. They woke up again at 7:30 and this time, they snuck to my side of the bed and quietly said, "Is it Christmas morning yet?" Oh, they're so very polite :) Yes, sweet children, 7:30 AM is indeed considered Christmas morning. They decided to look through their stockings first.
And that big present behind Glory? They decided to save that for last. They got stucking stuffers, ONE present each (Glory and Freedom got an RC car and Joy got an RC helicopter) and the BIG SURPRISE...
A trampoline!
Glory helped put it together.
Freedom went out to help for a while and came in to warm up on occasion.
But, Glo was pretty much out their the entire time with Daddy.
Joy decided to go outside and run around the trampoline a few time when it was near completion. She spent most of the time flying her new remote control helicopter.
Daddy tried the first jump - yep, it works!
This is right after Freed boldly declared "This is the SECOND BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!" "What was the first best Christmas Freedom?" "When Jesus was born!" Sounds right to me!
Joy flying her new RC helicopter.
Memaw and Papaw came over and Memaw made us ALL matching PJs out of FLEECE! SO WARM and FUZZY! Thank you Memaw!
They have pants to go along :)
And my THREE FAVORITE boys all got matching John Deer PJs.
Memaw and Papaw came with stuffed stockings too! Everyone got a puppet.
Untangling the puppet.
What?! a Red Ryder BB gun?!?!
We better read up on this thing kid, or you'll shoot your eye out!
I think Daddy was more excited about the Red Ryder than anyone else!
A little target practice.
Hmmm. Wonder if Papaw can get a bullseye?
Daddy had to try this thing out too. Memaw is supervising.
Well, Good Night All and Merry Christmas! Glory agrees with Freedom - almost - she says this is the THIRD best Christmas ever - she says when Jesus was born is the First Best, HER FIRST Christmas was the 2nd best (even though she was only one month old) and this is definitely the THIRD BEST Christmas ever. :)
Glory's Footy Pajamas.
Good Night Joy and Freedom. Freedom reiterates this is the second best Christmas ever. And right before it's time to snuggle down Joy says, "I'm going to go do a few jumps on MY trampoline - anyone want to join me?"
Thank you Jesus - for this sweet family you have given me.
