Merely March Miracles

Glory got braces!

And she got her cast off.  Taking Blondie to the vet for her checkup.

Freedom - surrounded by girls. Again.  It's the life he's been given.

And our dear friends' last day at church in San Antonio.  Boohoo.

Hanging out at Tejas Rodeo.

Playing MaStErMiNd!  I can almost hear Freedom's neurons firing when we play this game.

A sketch Joy made.  She's pretty.  I wonder what she's thinking about.

My little beauty and our puppy.

A puppy and a tablet in a recliner.  Life is sweet.

Life is even sweeter when you're greeted by a little pillow man.

Cub Scouts at the pack meeting talking about what they did that month.

Yep, Glory gets to sleep later than anybody else in the house!

5K Race for Rwanda Preparations

Photos of all the women we are working for.

Here's their group photo!  Go Jesus Go!  - in these women!

Wow - God provided a team to stuff the race packets.  Glory's homeschool co-op class!  Thank you Leo!!!

THE Packet Stuffing Team - Took off a LOT of pressure off just days before the race.  These are some of my favorite peeps.

Packets stuffed!

God also provided a dear friend to help me pass out race packets and t-shirts.  Love you Jennifer!

And God provided a powerful prayer team.  They prayed over each woman and provided granola bars with scriptures attached for post race snacks!  THIS WAS the most powerful part of the 5K - THIS prayer team.  THEY were the unseen engine of this race.

And, we made the news last minute!  Thank you Itza!

Our extra bedroom was the staging area for all things 5K

SOME, NOT ALL of the amazing people behind this race.  Oh how I love to watch the body of Christ come together.  I will never tire of watching all the pieces come together for His glory.  A beautiful orchestra - each part so weak and limited on its own, but together, with and under Christ, MORE THAN CAPABLE, POWERFUL and BEAUTIFUL.

Jon and Babies

I do love to see Jon holding a baby.  He's holding Davina's miracle baby - Blaze.

Exercising!

12.23 miles for me and 7.3 for Glory - on the bike!

Spring Break STAYCATION

So the big thing I discovered over this Spring Break staycation is that life for me is MUCH EASIER on 9 hours of sleep each night!!!

Our friend Gabby came over and they put googly eyes on TONS of food.  The little boy and girl orange above are by Joy.  SO CUTE! I love them.  It's scenes like this around the house that make my life SO rich!

Gabby and Glory made lots of things in the fridge come to life!  My favorite was the cyclopse (the package of fajita meat).

EVERY single orange can see.  I think they are all named Greg - expect the one with the sticker - I think he was Greg Jr.

And I was informed these are the quadruplets.

Even the potatoes and pineapple.

Doing some mundane shopping and they can find a little fun.

They scootered over to Yogurt Zone and we popped in as a surprise to the foot the bill.  They were totally goofy!

And one day was ALL about flowers - these beauties made a beautiful arrangement from an assortment of flowers they found outside (and from an arrangement Mrs. Payne was throwing away).

We (Mrs. Payne and I)  were driving home from a wedding shower and saw these beauties walking home - I TELL YOU - it blesses me to see them and know they are MINE!  WOW!

They had been busy decorating themselves with SPRING!

And we did yardwork and got the garden ready for a new year - - - found a carrot growing in there!!!!

And Freedom discovered he LOVES chicken fajitas (by eating dinner at Samuel's house!)  So, I had to get out and use the grill and make some chicken fajitas.  They were SO yummy!

Antebellum Ball

At the end of our studies of the third quarter of the nineteenth century and especially the United States Civil War, we celebrated with an antebellum ball.

Glory's class.

Our entire co-op.

I loved dancing with my dashing husband.

My favorite boys.  Freedom HATED the puffy collar and sleeves.

Father - Daughter.

Beautiful girls!

My mom made their dresses.  Glory did their hair.

Joy!
