Trick Or Treating

My mother makes Halloween "happen" for my children every year. She makes a costume for them each year. Thank you! This year, not only were they angels, but even Blondie got to be an angel. Freedom enjoyed borrowing a Spiderman costume from one of his good friends.

I LOVE this picture of my family! Mom and Dad, you look GREAT! Freedom thinks the cake looks great!

Pumpkin Patch

It seems to have become a fall tradition that my parents purchase pumpkins for the children to carve into jack-o-lanterns. Thank you! The kids LOVE doing this every year!

CrossBridge Fall Festival

We had SO much fun at the CrossBridge fall festival at the Mendez Farm! The place was beautiful and my girls "wished they could live there!" Thank you for sharing your farm David and Heather! Thanks Chris for a fun festival!

Glory, you're beautiful!

Joy LOVES to sing.

On the hayride! Boy, look at MY family! I am blessed!

This was Freedom's FAVORITE game at the festival.

SO sweet! Thank you for letting us hold your chickens! I think this was Joy & Glory's favorite part!

Just such a precious sight!

Jon and Freedom are fixing to race through the bouncy thing! I love this picture!

Steubing Stomp

Our school has a carnival once a year that takes care of all of the fundraising for the year. The kids love it and attending is fun. Many mothers work very hard for the entire month to make it possible. I'm not very proud of it, but I'm just not one of those moms. All I did this year was put together a coffee basket for the silent auction. I'm thankful for all their hard work and we thoroughly enjoyed the time together (even though it was combined with another Saturday of THREE soccer games!) And we're thankful we're not selling cookie dough or wrapping paper. YUCK! The kids all won their soccer games by the way. Jon was thrilled that his team won and we were also thrilled that Joy made her FIRST game goal! Woohoo!

Proud Daddy and Beautiful girls!

Proud Mama!

Best Friends.

Glory's game was in the middle of the Steubing Stomp, so she got to go to the Stomp, get her face painted like a purple tiger (her team is the purple tigers) and then go to her game like that. Everybody thought she was SUPER COOL.

SOME people thought Glory's purple tiger was SO COOL, that they copied the idea.

Glory, Dressed up for a Birthday Party

Glory was invited to a Birthday Part by another little girl in her class. They were going to meet at Chick Fil A for dinner, cake and presents and then go to the Palladium to watch AstroBoy. I didn't know the family, so Freedom and I just happened to have our own little date at Chick Fil A and the Palladium too :)

Glory looked SO pretty. It was a costume party - she dressed up as an angel with what she could scrounge up around the house.

At Chick Fil A, Freedom took time out of play time to sort this "game" out and match all the heads to their appropriate bodies.

A Quick Visit at Lunch & A Trip to Hobby Lobby

Freedom and I had to drop something off at school around lunch time, so we stopped in to give Glory a quick Hello & a Hug. She gave Freedom a little lick of her popcicle (well, several little licks). She's a sweet sister.

After lunch, we had to go to Hobby Lobby...Christmas is just around the corner, YAY!!!! MY FAVE time of the year!!!! I thought Freedom looked so cute and little next to this big tree.

He was fascinated with these particular ornaments. They were covered in what seemed like very short pieces of tinsel, so they felt really soft.

Just a Cute Pic of Freedom

The girls took this picture of Freedom. Cute! You'll notice in some upcoming blogs, that the finger on the chin is a new purposeful pose of his. Funny.

A Bath, A Snuggy & A Hoot Owl

They still take a bath together. I'm surprised. Joy wanted to show off her Mickey Mouse hairdo.

Freedom and Glory playing in the rain. It wasn't long until they had their swimsuits on, but I didn't get a picture of that.

Joy got a Snuggy for her Birthday. Glory thought it sure did look nice, so she asked if she could borrow it for a night. Joy said, "Yes, if you let me be your puppy for a whole day!" Glory, amazed at the bargain thought her deal was too great, so she thought she'd even it out a bit, "You can be my puppy for SEVEN days!" Joy, thinking her end of the bargain was a way too great, said, "Glory, have I got a deal for you! You can have the Snuggy for SEVEN days!" They were both thrilled. I was surprised. I mean, I knew NOBODY liked to play the Mama dog, and it seemed they just couldn't play without one of those, but I had no idea how important it was to Joy. I know Memaw, who appears to be appalled every time they play puppy is rolling her eyes right about now. LOL.

Aw, look at that happy puppy and her Mama dog! LOL

Playing puppies. Joy, you're growing up!

I guess Glory enjoyed borrowing the Snuggy - I found her the next morning in this position.

Freedom made this owl puppet at school. He was so proud of it - as he should be!

Freedom's First "School Picture Day"

Today was your first picture day at school Freedom! Daddy gave you a hair cut the night before and you look so handsome! I hope you never tire of your buzz cut! The photographers gave you a cute little brush/comb set that you're showing off in these pictures. You were so proud of it!

Here is my comb and brush.

Check this out, the comb fits into the brush!

And now it's just a brush!

AND, I can even make it into a little airplane! Cool huh?!?

And I can comb my hair.

And keep it in my pocket!
