April Affections

My girl - in a tree - at our church.

Working on something with dad.

Driving to DNOW.

These are the girls we brought.  :)

7th graders!

Our host home was AmAzInG.  We were welcomed by a water-heart.

And a map.

The girls played a LOT in the back yard during free time.

Mr. Steve Angle's Wedding.

Joy used pastels to create a portrait of Jesus from her imagination.

Glory used pastels to recreate a painting by impressionist, Mary Cassatt titled "Sara Holding a Cat"

My man can clean up good!  This suit has dressed him on many occasions.  I am forever grateful to my mom who bought it for him.

This was a visit to Transguide!  What is the value added by Transguide you might ask?  Nothing really.  GPS and phones have replaced its usefulness.

These two after the visit to Transguide.  Ready to be silly.

Field trip to the Alamo.  Gotta try on the coonskin caps.

Friends at the Alamo

The six flags over Texas, which we studied at homeschool this year: Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the United States of America and the Confederate States of America.

Lunch and a Group Selfie

My favorite.

Wildseed Farms

Poppies,  Bluebonnets and More!  Oh my!  Drove the kids out to Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, TX.  BEAUTIFUL place!  The drive out there was gorgeous and it smelled SO wonderful out there!  Planned on eating a sandwich at their little cafe, but got all the way out there only to discover I forgot my purse at home!  Definitely worth the trip and we'll probably go again.

Freedom Playing Soccer

Joy got some great pictures of Freedom at his soccer game today.  I never realized the faces he made during the game until I saw these shots.  Super fun!

Happy Easter

Easter egg dying with Grandma and Grandpa

Aren't they pretty?

:)  Pretty eggs!

Happy Birthday Papaw!

My Beauties

Easter egg hunting with Memaw and Papaw.

Wow.  My family.

Squirrels started hunting before we did and stole some treats the Easter bunny left for the kids!
