Mother/Daughter Horse Camp

Thanks to Carole Anne and Jon, the girls and I had the neat opportunity to go to a Mother/Daughter Horse Camp with the best of friends!

Super blessed to have such an amazing daughter.

She found some interesting little worms to look at.  There were millions of them all bunched up together and you wouldn't know they were worms unless you were Joy - - - curiously exploring all around you.

After the gymnasium swing!!  Photo bombed by the swing boss!

My girl, who's been afraid of heights from birth is ready to conquer that fear once again on the gymnasium swing!

Everything good in our lives come from the cross.

My girls did my hair.  They adorn every aspect of my life in ways I don't deserve.

Isn't she the most beautiful girl ever?

I'm a proud, blessed, thankful Mother!  My girls are beautiful inside and out.

These two were hillarious!!!!  Mother daughter horse games!

And Joy busted Rebekah's nose - or something - cuz it was bleeding...and somehow that was very funny!

Sillyness.

Friendships like this are an amazing gift from God.

TeenPact

I had the awesome opportunity to take Glory to TeenPact at the Texas State Capitol.  We learned about the Executive, Judicial and Legislative Branches of Texas and a fair amount of History.  The Texas Capitol is a beautiful building.

Walking to the Capitol for the first time.

Ready for the first day!

From the inside, standing in the rotunda, looking up into the dome.

We stayed at the beautiful Twin Oaks Ranch just South of Austin.

Glory is so pretty!

Glory graduating from TeenPact

Beautiful Graduates at TeenPact!

This was the leadership team at TeenPact.  Stellar group of young people!

Teaching the girls how to dress professionally.  Dresses below the knees.  They all look so sharp!

The boys getting their talk in the reverse rotunda.

Worship in the State Capitol.

Surrounding Vietnam Memorial and praying for our veterans and their families.

The Goddess of Liberty stands on top of the Texas State Capitol.  She holds the Texas Star in her hand and with her, the Texas State Capitol exceeds the height of the U.S. Capitol.  A hawk often rests on her star.

Worship back at camp was so sweet with just instruments and voices.  No loud sound systems.

Glory's group checking out the rotunda.

Glory in class.

Glory's group getting a tour of the House.

The Texas Supreme Court.

Swinging back at camp

Another picture of the beautiful ceiling of the dome.

Dinner at camp.

The floor of the rotunda depicts some History of our state.  The Texas Seal inside the Texas star represents Texas as a Republic.  Then we have the other five flags which have flown over Texas.  Texas in the United States, under Spain, under France, under Mexico and under the confederacy.

Bonfire back at camp.

Sitting in the House!

The entire group in the reverse rotunda.

Glory reading her bill.  She was concerned she might pass out because she was so nervous!  I'm very proud, because she did it!!!!
