Inks Lake

Jon and Freedom got to camp at Inks Lake with the Boy Scouts  and they said it was so beautiful we should go...so they took us on Good Friday!  Thanks boys!  It was awesome!!!

About 30 minutes out to Inks Lake, Freedom announces that he forgot to bring shoes.  Oops.  Told him it was OK, we'd make a stop at Walmart.  He apologized and said he'd buy the shoes with his own money.  We said he could mow the front yard the next day in order to pay them off.

We made it!  This is one of my favorite views walking behind my favorites!

So far, Inks Lake is gorgeous!  I love my family!

Wow, beautiful!

Just gorgeous!

Together forever!

Hanging out on the cliff.  I wish I had better pictures of the cliff.  There was jumping and that was stressful for me!  We all jumped, but I never would have done it if it had not been for my boys.  They forced me to do it (even though I acted ridiculous) because they didn't want to miss out on the experience.  Thanks again boys.  Life would be boring without y'all!

Feeding a squirrel popcorn.

Prettiest girl in Texas down there!

Other prettiest girl in Texas.  Glory and I took a run out on the trails.  It was more like a Captain Jack Sparrow Prance because of the rough terrain in most places, and although we tripped (me multiple times), we never fell!  The trail was so beautiful that our 31 minutes felt like FIVE minutes.

And Joy climbed a tree!

Feeding geese and ducks at the lake.

We were so exhausted when we got home around 11:00.  Unfortuantely, as soon as we got home, Blondie got sprayed by a skunk, so we were up another hour cleaning her up!

And here's Freedom looking sharp earning those new shoes!
